BNSF Gateway Sub Action
Author: icancmp193

The southbound that has been stranded at Keddie since last Thursday due to the Camp Fire in the Feather River Canyon just came northbound through suburban Crescent Mills, CA at 1800 tonight. Since southbounds are almost entirely loads, should be a good pull up the 2.2% to Almanor. Looked like (corrected) 4-1 power (with binoculars, in the dark).

Had a nb light power move at 0630 Thursday.

TJY.

Hope they get the Canyon Sub open soon. We are losing jobs with pools cut in Stockton because of the fire. If I could sue PG&E for loss of income, I would. LOL

That must have been the one I heard them trying to get through a few nights ago. This year's been a big mess for the RR's with all these choke points showing up due to the fires, or the Dam for that matter.

Are you getting much smoke in Crscent Mills, Tom? I'm guessing the wind is mostly blowing it out way. Visibility was down to a couple miles, if that, this afternoon.

Of course, nothing in comparison to the loss of lives and property in the fire.

I was just watching a CNBC correspondent from the Bay Area, what I thought was dense fog is actually smoke! Feel for you
guys, had it any number of times growing up in Cali.

Yup, everyone can sue, the company files for bankruptcy, shuts down, and turns off the lights... for everyone.

You might want to wait until the cause of the fire is determined.

Good Lord, does anybody here not recognize sarcasm? I left a clue.
