Friday Flares . . .
Author: SCKP187

Last Monday 12th went out to get some snow shot in the area.  The snow wasn't quite as concentrated as desirable but we did manage to get a few falling flakes in the photos as well as some ground cover.
I was more than happy to see the matched power of the same number class that our trains had--and I like the flared radiator look of present day since there aren't many SD45s anymore.  Here's a few shots fromthe 23* weather and cutting wind.

1.    UP 8962-8356 MHONP getting up to track speed leaving Lenapah OK

2.     an away look

3.     Yet another matched set of power on a KCS foreign rew-route FGBVKC through downtown Lenapah OK--looks to be one of their chicken feed unit trains.

4.     Also found new UP 3090 with 6706, last AC in C&NW paint on the MFWKC while the dog-catch crew was putting their train back together that had been cut for crossings at Clem Siding just south of Nowata OK.

Thanks for looking

Nice catch on that EMD-T4/ex-C&NW duo.

Stay warm out there,

Neat consist in that last pic. Glad you were able to get some snow shots when we had the chance. Nice variety.
