Central Illinois Signal Query, any legacy signals remain?
Author: tq-07fan

Illinois is on the border of the Western and Eastern Boards but I thought I would start here anyways. Are there any unreplaced signals in Illinois outside of Chicago from the former ATSF, CB&Q, and  Wabash? Any other notable legacy signals in Illinois could also be visited, I plan on visiting the central area between Decatur, Springfield, Peoria and Galesburg soon.

The Central former Illinois Central Gilman Sub has quite a few USS "traffic light" style signals between Decatur and Gilman.

Don't know about Illinois but across the river in Missouri the BNSF still has all the search lights up on the Hanibal sub along hwy. 36

Thank you all for the replies. My friend wants to visit Missouri as he has never been there so that gives something for the show me state to show us I guess.
