Western Railroad Discussion > A couple on the MRL around Bozeman todayDate: 11/18/18 19:33 A couple on the MRL around Bozeman today Author: tc This afternoon there was this E/B train at east Bozeman waiting for a helper set to get it up the hill and they kept calling it the Pasco/ Barstow train, this is a first for me. The helper set arrived on a W/B train with a nice 2nd unit on the head end and then on the rear for helpers (I think the 290 is their oldest unit) was one of the oldest units and their newest on the roster.

I would have thought they would have gone from Laurel down the Casper Sub to Denver and down to Amarillo, then west on the Transcon.
