…things are backed up and the siding is very full.

Photo 4: The trailing unit, not running 72 hours later.
Photo 5: It’s been a beautiful Fall here in the Willamette Valley with very little rain, and today, no fog along this section of the river.

Boy, that end of Ashahr has sure grown up- hardly recognize it! Here's a similar view from Jan 4, 1986 just after the DTC blocks were established.

For what it's worth, I forgot to mention in my original post that the leader, 4896, was still idling 72 hours later, but the trailing unit, 3036, was not.
