One from the Galveston Sub
Author: texchief1

BNSF ES44C4 8340 and BNSF Dash 9 4874 lead a SB loaded ethanol or oil train into Rogers, TX on the BNSF Galveston Sub.  This is about 10 miles south of the crew change point in South Temple, TX, so this is a fresh crew.  I believe he was doing 55mph on this reverse curve.  It is around noon on December 1, 2018.

Thanks for looking.

Nice! A near-head on telephoto always makes for a bit of drama in the image.

What was he hauling?  I don't think it was ethanol.

Nick,

Probably crude oil.  Had buffers and flammmable placards on the cars and it was loaded.
