Almost Home
Author: vegasrails

After a long trip from Ogden Utah to Las Vegas Nevada on to West Colton California, back to Las Vegas these two museum locomotives now sit on the City of Henderson track age, six miles from their new home in Boulder city Nevada and the Nevada rail museum, with the lights of of Las Vegas and the Luxor in the far background. They were shoveled to the current location by Union Pacific Local 48 and Will be towed into Boulder City by the museum's GP-30 sometime during Thursday morning.

Will this be the first interchange between the museum and UP since the bridge over Interstate 10 was opened at Railroad Pass?  Where is the “current location” of the two spotted diesels?  Henderson?  Is it on UP trackage?
