Does anyone know if this is a new UP unit? It was SB at Salem, Oregon, in the dark this evening so I didn't see it. Seems to me UP is getting new aces? Thx

8 units brand new in late December 2018, UP 9097-9104.  These were substitutes for 8 demo T4 units that UP did not get from EMD.

I saw this consist today as well at coalca with 9100 leading and wondered the same thing.

Interestingly I noticed 9100 was the first dash 8.

That 9100 has been retired .
