Western Railroad Discussion > Warbonnets and Bloody noses at JudkinsDate: 01/19/19 10:54 Warbonnets and Bloody noses at Judkins Author: CBRL I heard that a BNSF grain train was heading south out of the Eugene yard and went to the Judkins siding just south of Franklin Blvd. to check it out and see if there were any foreign units aboard. Unfornately they had to wait for Amtrak 508 to leave at 4:30 and it was getting darker and rainier by the minute. Undeterred, I cranked the ISO up, opened the aperture to f/2 and waited. Not the sharpest shots but interesting nonetheless.
1. ES44DC BNSF 7578 rolls underneath the I5 bridge. 2. AC4400 CEFX 1047 is next 3. SD70MAC BNSF 8959 can't wait to get down and dirty in the Cascade tunnels. The next two shots are the best. Tom Trent Eugene, OR Date: 01/19/19 10:57 Re: Warbonnets and Bloody noses at Judkins Author: CBRL 4. Dash9 BNSF 798 still at work.
5. AC4400 UP 6367 (SP 321) pushing on the rear. No mid-train units this time. Thanks for the looks. Tom Trent Eugene, OR Date: 01/19/19 12:15 Re: Warbonnets and Bloody noses at Judkins Author: Ritzville Nice catch!!
