About a month ago I drove by Atwood Jct  and noticed 5 well cars way off to the side on the ground with wheel sets lined up next to them. I completely forgot to try and find out what happened then two days ago I happened by again and they were still there. I assume there was a derailment sometime over a month ago but it's odd they are still there. Does anyone know what happened and when?

If you’re referring to Atwood, CA along BNSF’s San Bernardino Subdivision....

Then yes, there was a derailment several miles east of there in December, 2018. The damaged wells were moved west to a more open location for scrap dismantling.

Sorry should have been more specific about the location. Yes that's the one, thanks for the info I hadn't seen any post about it.
