UP LOA32 Costa Mesa

The Union Pacific LOA32 Costa Mesa was building it's train in the Extension on Monday 2/11/2019 with a single unit.

Interesting that there is only one unit: I have always seen UP use 2 or 3, regardless of how small the consist is, on LA Basin locals.

Awfully pretty for something so functional, maybe 'cuz it's back in my old home county and a reflection of  SP's former  branch line network there, thank you very much!

They could save a lot of costs in the LA Orange area if a short line could come in a do the locals....
