I have published a 552 page book entitiled California Railroad Guide 2019 which is now available as a printed book, a PDF file on DVD and as a direct PDF download.
The printed book is 8.5" x 11" with a soft laminated cover, suitable for field use and home use. It weights 4 pounds, lots of infomation in there.

So many people are used to getting stuff free off the internet.  Here someone has gone to a lot of trouble to assemble everything you could want to know about California railroads.  It would be very useful for planning a visit to California, even if you live in the state.  I love the freight and passenger trains per day maps!  So many good maps and tables.  Support it by buying it, otherwise this goes away and there will be no future updates.

Wow, looking at the sample pages a lot of work went into this book.  It looks a lot like an old Altamont Press timetable, but on steroids.   I ordered a book that will probably become my new go to instead of the basket of old timetables that sit in the family room that my wife is tired of putting away all of the time.

My thoughts exactly!  I purchased the PDF version and downloaded it immediately.  A great resource.  I can easily put it on my cellphone and tablet, thus it will be available anytime and I don't have to remember to bring it along.

I liked what I saw in the preview pages. I would like to know, about the book edition, is it hard or soft cover? (Hard cover is a deal breaker, as I would like to use this out in the field) Also, what are the dimensions? A coffee-table book size would be too large to carry about. Could someone who has this in book version perhaps post a photo of the book with a common item, like a soda can or baseball to give me a sense of scale? The website doesn’t seem to have this info. Thanks in advance.

Got to the sample pages, and looks good,   but nothing for purchase.

Hope the web site can be corrected/improved.

The website is functioning normally now. For reasons not known the links between pages ceased functioning.
