I caught a foreign visitor at UP’s Herington roundhouse just before sunset this evening. If I’d been there a minute or two earlier the CN nose could have doubled for Rudolph and the unit could have gotten into polar flying…

1. Looking into the Herington, KS roundhouse from the west side. UP 4707, UP 6074 & CN 8884 are visible, along with a huge chorus of warblers fixin’ to serenade the moon.
