I didn't know if you would check out your post.  I just wanted to know how you get to Rio Puerco?  Can you give me directions.

Super easy, it's just off Hwy 6 between Belen (actually Los Lunas on the I-25 end) and the I-40 exit near Suwanee.  Watch for the signs to the trash landfill and that's your crossing.

Yes, what Andy said. Easy to get to. Right on the highway with a public grade crossing that leads into the referenced landfill.. Be aware, however, that just a little farther to the west takes you onto an Indian reservation. Always best to not stop on Indian lands to take pictures unless you have secured written permission. The boundary line is 150 feet west of the intersection of NM6 and the landfill road.
