It was a beautiful sunny first day of Spring in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 56-35 so far. Traffic was busy in between MoW opersations. There were several UP re-routes due to the derailment on the UP south of Morengo, WA. Here are some of the trains from today and several from yesterday.

3/19/2019

1. WB 352pm GATX coke train with BNSF 5374, CSXT 5273 and green and cream 9512 on the point with DPU.
2. Another shot of BNSF Grinstein 9512 on same train.
3. WB 352pm CANPOTEX train with CP 8109-8039 and UP 5544 on the pull with DPU's and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger. A UP re-route.

Not sure DK on the potash trains and can't remember seeing green Nutrien hopper yet. Maybe someone can help us this.

Potash train is a detour for the UP because of their derailment south of Marengo.  Any potash trains that BNSF gets come south out of Vancouver BC through Seattle to Portland.

You were having a banner day with the reroutes, great consists and heritage hoppers....oh and that bright blue sunny sky that has been so rare the past few months!
