Western Railroad Discussion > Sunny Early Spring FridayDate: 03/22/19 18:34 Sunny Early Spring Friday Author: rrartist It's about time I focused on the BNSF for a day and since the CP was quiet I did just that starting with the Z STPCHC, BNSF 6996 followed by the BNSF 8163 and it's Grain loads. I moved north to the Golf course for the S TACCHC, BNSF 6907.
Date: 03/22/19 18:40 Re: Sunny Early Spring Friday Author: rrartist The Union Pacific Road Freight from Winona (MN) to Adams (WI) has a pair UP locomotives I haven't photographed so I headed across the Mississippi River to La Moille (top) and Donehower (middle) and lastly Dakota (lower). Time for lunch!
Date: 03/22/19 18:47 Re: Sunny Early Spring Friday Author: rrartist After lunch I headed back out to find a pair of ACE led train, but first the CREX 1308 leads a flood detour into La Crosse. The Mississippi River is supposed to go up 2 feet in the next week which is 2 feet about flood stage and if it rains anywhere in Minnesota / Northern WI it's going to be a real mess with the melting snow pack. BNSF 8751 leads the Z SSECHC with the BNSF 8515 close behind with the Q PTLCHC.
