Western Railroad Discussion > Playing with silhouettesDate: 04/04/19 09:03 Playing with silhouettes Author: santafe199 Last fall I paid a visit to friend & fellow retired engineer Jim Will (KCRW287) who gave me the nickel tour of his old working turf, the old Mop mainline between Leavenworth & Atchison, KS. The weather was crap, but like all good railfans should we had fun exploring anyhow. Later in the afternoon we ended up over on the Missouri side of the the ‘Mighty Mo’ (river). Evidently the Master Artist upstairs took pity on us and painted up one of the best sunsets I had seen in a long time. I posted one of my images right away (here’s a link to that thread: https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,4652272,4652272#msg-4652272 ). But I still had a couple of images I ran through some photo-editing and never posted. Here they are.
I can still wonder: Who needs a train? 1. & 2. Sunset silhouette scenes along BNSF’s St Joe Sub near Farley, MO. Photo date: October 13, 2018. Thanks for looking!
