Western Railroad Discussion > VACA #3 Day 4: More FWWR, DRGW SW1200, Trinity RailDate: 04/08/19 07:02 VACA #3 Day 4: More FWWR, DRGW SW1200, Trinity Rail Author: Ohiorailfan On my 4th day of my trip I had 3 goals: Chase the FWWR Cleburne Job, Photograph DRGW #134 and see Trinity Rail Epress. The day started with the FWWR yard job working in Cresson with the same power as the day before. Then the Cleburne job left with 34 cars and Ex SP GP40-2 #2009 leading. I chased them to Cleburne and then headed to Saginaw. While I'm not a huge Class 1 fan I was very pleased with the variety of power in such a short time in Saginaw. Right across from the junction, one of the grain elevators has a very unique engine...DRGW #134 an SW1200. The 134 is not used to my knowledge, but is untouched and still wears its original number and paint. After that I headed to Irving to capture a couple TRE trains before spending the night in Palestine. Enjoy!!

Looks like an awesome trip so far. In #14 you also caught the only one, or maybe two? former BN greens that got the large BNSF treatment.
