It was a warm Mother's Day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 81-46. Traffic has been steady. With the monitor down, having to play it by ear, causing lots of grab shots. Here are some of the friendly trains from Thursday thru Saturday.

5/9/2019

1. WB 345pm oil train with BNSF 4220-4740 on the point with DPU's and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
2. DPU' BNSF 3977 and Warbonnet 661 looking a little worse for wear, but still chugging along.
3.  WB 401pm oil train with BNSF 8450-5521 on the pull with DPU and a friendly wave from the hogger.

4. DPU BNSF 8791 on same oil train.
5. Grab shot of  EB 427pm manifest train with BNSF 7164, Warbonnet 647 and BNSF 7752 on the point with no DPU.

I was the pilot on the WER for the BNSF 5074 with the NP heritage hopper about 25 cars in from the rear...    Train was destined for Longview, Washington.

Wonder if the two FURX geeps are going to Kettle Falls when Progress Rail takes over.
