Weber Canyon near MP 963 UP 8596 East

Train after UP 4014 passed...Union Pacific 8596 East led the Los Angeles, CA, to Global 3, Chicago, Illinois, train I LAG3-10, across the Weber River at Taggart, Utah, 12 May 2019.  Pole line at right no longer used. Large tie gang working out of Morgan, Utah, had major MofW track maintenance windows-no trains during weekdays during the days.

Nice photo. On Wednesday the work crews I saw started working on the the track as soon as the Big Boy had passed.
