Cryogenic to diesel conversion question

When they convert cryogenic reefers to diesel powered ones do they build an extension on the end for the fuel tank or shorten the body. Kinda hard to get up close and measure one these days.

Ones I've seen had the end of the car cut. Makes it about 57ft on the inside or so.

Would think they would cut the body easier to do than extend the running gear as truck would have to be moved. Just my take on it from what I have seen had a friend doing some engineering work on them years back.
