Cabinet Mountains
Author: funnelfan

A empty coal bucket heads east in the shadow of the Cabinet Mountains on the Idaho-Montana border. The train will cross the MRL and head into Wyoming for a fill of export coal to return to Robert's Bank, BC to unload.

We're heading up that way next week. We have a vacation place in the southern Cabinets where we spend a couple of weeks each summer (a family member lives next door full time and looks after it for us). That's God's Little Acre--we're forty miles out of town and ten miles off the highway. Plan to do some railfanning around Helena and the Clark Fork valley. Plus a visit to the Tehachapi Loop on our way home. Ah, Summer!
