Foaming in the B this morning

I fired up the MG this morning and took it down to the south end of Dunsmuir Yard for a little photo shoot.

Ya, I had a ‘64 Austin Cooper for a time- you really don’t want to go out any further than you’d be willing to walk back.

Fun car, though....

My first car was a '67 MGB.  Despite all the mechanical problems, it was a fun car when I was 18!

That's the same old MG that you drove down here to Ludlow and ripped off a bunch of trees and took them back to Dunsmanure and replanted them.

Don Winslow, I thought you said photobob was too old to drive. He might hurt somebody with this fast car.

I noticed the antique blue license plate. Any correlation?

Most likely the original plate for the vehicle. In California you keep your plates as long as the vehicle is registered.

Nice looking car.

Should be able to keep up with the CORP in that ride.

It's only fast if he can get it to run. Probably had it towed to that spot.

I went through two Land-Rover IIA’s.
You actually COULD get it up over 45mph, but you had to drive it out the rear of a C-130 to do it.
And even then you needed to be over 10,000ft- it took a while to top out...

Always park on a hill so you can start her on compression and cary a fire extinguisher in case the Lucas electric wiring acts up.

Don, I must confess it doesn't have an engine it is actually a pedal car. I bet in all your years as a motorcycle policeman you never pulled an MG over for speeding.
