The first operation has picked up the name 'splitter', where the empty train from Roseville is split into two sections in Dunsmuir, there's a set of 'helpers' in town that takes the second section to Black Butte where they put the train back together. The operation had been from Lakehead to Grass Lake but they've figured out it works just as well from Dunsmuir to Black Butte. This is basically because of the tight curve and ruling grade at Cantara Loop to Mott. Yep, it's very similar to what the SP did at times.
