There were a number of interesting units in various stages of restoration. If you usk nicely in the office they'll probably let you take a picture Jonathan Fischer West Seattle, WA Date: 07/16/19 12:50 Re: MILW 5057 @ Usk, Wa; 07/15/2019 Author: Rmosele Oh my, that 5057 is a sad sight. I almost wish I hadn't seen it. I saw some GP20s parked in Terre Haute, IN shortly after the Milwaukee ceased to exist and they almost looked that bad. I did some research with the trustee's office and he said they could be purchased for $6K, each, as is. At least one had a warped crankcase. I didn't have the money or a location to put one then but I wish I had.

from Portola and have since raised enough money for the paint and restoration. Once finished it's going back to Cle Elum in front of the restored depot. Out Date: 07/16/19 14:00 Re: MILW 5057 @ Usk, Wa; 07/15/2019 Author: SD45X No they won’t. Been there three times and NO was the answer.

Jonathan Fischer West Seattle, WA Date: 07/16/19 15:43 Re: MILW 5057 @ Usk, Wa; 07/15/2019 Author: SantaFe9820 Had no idea there were any U25Bs left. I can't imagine complaining about this! Thanks for sharing

That's a group that is really making lemonaid out of lemons. The depot and substation there were in terrible shape with one foot in the grave before they took control of the area. Now you can eat in the depot and it's a great launch point for those making use of the great John Wayne Trail. The future looks very good for the 5057 and this organization thankfully.
Thanks for sharing the latest photos. I've been wondering how 5057 is coming. Date: 07/16/19 22:54 Re: MILW 5057 @ Usk, Wa; 07/15/2019 Author: SP8100 SD45X Wrote:
