Western Railroad Discussion > Counts - BNSF vs UP in Arizona - 07/17/2019Date: 07/18/19 17:38 Counts - BNSF vs UP in Arizona - 07/17/2019 Author: SouthWestRailCams Good Evening,
For anyone that is keeping track, attached is the data for the month of July 2019 with data updated to 07/17/2019. The numbers on the left hand side and plot points for that given day was processed by the system. Please keep in mind, these are not "official numbers" by the railroad, however, the counts come from certain control points along the Subdivisions that are in Arizona (BNSF - Seligman Sub and UP - Gila Sub). UP has other routes in and out of California which make up for the less traffic volumes along the Gila Subdivision. Larry Date: 07/18/19 17:57 Re: Counts - BNSF vs UP in Arizona - 07/17/2019 Author: 2ebright Christina, when you say "The numbers on the left hand side and plot points for that given day was processed by the system", what exactly is the system of which you speak?

It communicates with the servers that host the Monitoring Router for Arizona and the TrainMon5 Arizona Relay. We have sites at the following locations that talk to the main server: BNSF Seligman Sub (Kingman, Crozier, Williams, Parks, Flagstaff and Winslow (LaPosada Museum). In a few weeks we will have a site launched in Goffs, CA. UP Eastern Yuma, Gila, Phoenix, and Western Lordsburg Subs (Yuma, Fortuna, Casa Grande, Mesa, and South Tucson). Hope that helps. PS. To get access to the displays, you need to be a member of the Yahoo Group "ATCS Monitoring". Then you can apply to get TrainMon5 access too.
