The LOF66 Guadalupe Hauler came through Chatsworth tonight, after stopping in Oxnard to pick up a load of auto racks. Total count was 101 cars, plus UP 2002 Olympic loco was in the mix. They started in Guadalupe with 43 loads. 

This is is the only freight action from SLO to the south. Have not seen any through freights from the Bay Area at all.

About the only through freight traffic is the autorack repro runs and that's like twice a week.

There are no through freights - nada, nil, zilch, none. Twice weekly each way (LOF66/67) south of Guadalupe, no freight trains at all between Guad and Paso Robles, 61 miles. If there are lumber cars for Paso they come down from Watsonville Junc once a week. Empty auto racks are returning via Tehachapi. 

When did the empty autoracks change to the Valley? They've been on the Coast for years.

They've been getting fewer and fewer over the last few months. Down to one or two a month this past Spring to finally nothing. Last repo ran down the coast on June 9.

The coast line still sees occasional southbound baretables. Saw one a couple weeks ago stopped in a siding near Santa Barbara. Don't know how often this runs, my guess is once or twice a month depending on traffic. 

P.S For those interested UP 2002 was on the Guad. Hauler today 7/22, will return again tomorrow night and likely be leading the train again thrusday 7/25
