Kolbe, IL - 

Crowd is gathered for historic last revenue run of Keokuk Junction Railway's FP9 streamlined passenger locomotive. Said one onlooker, "Shit, it's hot out here. Where is the crew?"

Did you manage to catch them coming across the Illinois River Bridge? Hopefully they don't wye the power when they get back to Kolbe.

Done for the day. Power will not be turned. Train departs Kolbe around 8 am, maybe earlier, on August 7. 

Railroad employees repeatedly emphasized their desire for people to stay 25' from rail.
