It was a nice day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside sub with a high-low of 84-57. Traffic was busy in the morning tapering off some in the afternoon. to build up again after 4pm. Had yesterday's pictures deleted by computor saying Windows has quit running and wiped them all away, very frustrating! Anyway, here are some of today's trains.

8/16/2019

1. WB 917am coal train with BNSF 8152-7449-8563 on the point with DPU and a friendly toot-toot-wave from the hogger.
2. DPU BNSF 9189 on same train.
3. EB 958am grain train with BNSF 7217-7843 on the pull with DPU.

4. DPU BNSF Warbonnet 716 on same train fading away by old NP Ritzville Depot.
5. WB 1010am manifest train with BNSF 7098-8043 on the point with no DPU.
6. The End of same train fading away. Lots of reefers on the end of train.

Geeezzzz..... I hate it when that happens Larry. I am used to seeing a full days-worth of rail highlights so guess I am spoiled. The ones you did show are great.

13. Lots of new tank car like this one on the ethanol train. First time I've seen those cars.

15. EB 1128am grain train with BNSF 4682-4509-4381 on the pull with no DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.

16. The End of same grain train fading away by Ritzville Depot.
17. EB 1215pm coal train with BNSF 7179-4822 and Warbonnet 701 on the pull with no DPU.

19. WB 240pm "Z" train with BNSF 6927-5105-8518-5507-7017 on the point with a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
20. EB 453pm manifest train with BNSF 8319 and Warbonnet 786 on the pull with DPU and a friendly wave from the conductor.
21. Another shot of Warbonnet 786 on same train.

Lost about a dozen pictures, Jasper sure sounds NICE this time of year. Hope you are having a great time!

Nice shots today Larry. Havn't seen any of those tank cars around here yet.

Re: the MET tank car - Midwest Ethanol Transport.  A quick check of RR Pictures Archives didn't show any cars painted in that scheme (?)
