The filing is a bit light on content! Excerpt: "...Redacted..." Fortunately on August 21, Soo Line submitted a filing that outlined the nature of the interim interchange agreement: "...Under the terms of the interim agreement, CN will deliver CP-bound interchange traffic to CP at Bensenville, and CP will deliver CNbound interchange traffic to CN via the Belt Railway Company’s Clearing Yard..." https://www.stb.gov/filings/all.nsf/ba7f93537688b8e5852573210004b318/3ccab403a5cb88628525845e003f8682/$FILE/248368.pdf Edited 2 time(s). The CN crosses the CP about a mile east of Bensenville so it would seem that B'ville would be a natural interchange point. Most take the turn to the Leithton sun going around Chicago on its way to Kirk.

CN had been pushing to move this interchange to CN’s ex-EJE Kirk Yd. in Gary IN.

These usually had nice power lately, such as a pair of match IC SD70s. Fairly reliable train late afternoon through Joliet and Plainfield.
