Revealing WC STB filing wrt CP-CN interim interchange agreement!

The filing is a bit light on content! Excerpt:

"...Redacted..."

Fortunately on August 21, Soo Line submitted a filing that outlined the nature of the interim interchange agreement:
"...Under the terms of the interim agreement, CN will deliver CP-bound interchange traffic to CP at Bensenville, and CP will deliver CNbound interchange traffic to CN via the Belt Railway Company’s Clearing Yard..."

It would be interesting to know where the cars come from and where they go once interchanged in Chicago.
The CN crosses the CP about a mile east of Bensenville so it would seem that B'ville would be a natural
interchange point.

CN doesn’t run much freight into Schiller Park (Besenville). Most take the turn to the Leithton sun going around Chicago on its way to Kirk.

This new agreement will eliminate the exchange of cars at Spaulding where the CN and CP/Metra cross just east of Elgin IL. CN had been pushing to move this interchange to CN’s ex-EJE Kirk Yd. in Gary IN.

This then eliminates the pair of trains to Spaulding and back, think it was 521? These usually had nice power lately, such as a pair of match IC SD70s. Fairly reliable train late afternoon through Joliet and Plainfield.
