If anybody happens to drive by, I would appreciate an update on scrapping of the overhead, equipment, coal loader, etc.

I had the same idea as Nathan when I posted that. Obviously, I'd prefer mothball-ing versus scrapping. Does anyone have contact information for the tribe, or BM&LP?  They do not appear to have a website! Thanks!

The Navajo Nation has a website.

Salt River Project in Phoenix was the operator of the mine, power plant and railroad.
