Western Railroad Discussion > BNSF Special "Heads Up"Date: 09/16/19 09:55 BNSF Special "Heads Up" Author: rww Sometime in the next 24 hours, BNSF will operate a four-car special train that will originate on the BRC at Chicago destined Topeka. it will have two flat cars (one on each end) and two passnger coaches (in the middle) that were previously at Beech Grove. CSX handled them to Chicago. I'll try and give a better update when departure time becomes clearer. rww

Who Got These Cars?? Since BNSF is reportedly "taking them to Topeka", where their executive passenger car fleet is maintained, one would think that BNSF purchased them. I ask because the PPC's were just retired while the other High Level equipment has been retired for awhile now.
