And even more rare being it's a BNSF train!! Those photos are keepers, for sure.

Date: 10/06/19 13:04 Re: Trains on Donner 8/1/19 Author: BoilingMan Yes, when they changed all the signals for bi-directional running a few years ago, the mainline signals were moved Eastward about a quarter mile. They now stand at the former site of the Dutch Flat depot.

Always enjoyed the sounds of freights working the grade, as well as the ones coming down. And, usually got to actually see some of them between Dutch Flat and Alta. Great memories.
