KCS and coal question
Author: Txtrainman60

Are there any coal fired plants along the KCS mainline that are still in operation and served by KCS? If so, what location(s)?

The following plants are on KCS rails:

Amsterdam, MO - CKCAM / CAMKC
Bonanza, OK - CKCBO / CBOKC
Empire, KS - CKCEM / CEMKC
Flint Creek, AR - CKCFL / CFLKC
Welsh, TX - CKCWE / CWEKC

KCS also hauls Martin Lake, TX coal to either Shreveport or Texarkana but the plant is on BNSF rails.
CKCSH / CSHKC if interchanged at Shreveport.  CKCTX / CTXKC if interchanged at Texarkana.

Edit:  I added the symbols for each.
