Date: 10/17/19 10:13 Re: NS target for Grand River Bridge restoration is mid-November Author: BCutter As a side note, the Corp of Engineers has announced a series of public meetings to discuss Lower Grand River watershed concerns. The NS bridge is only few miles north of the confluence with the Missouri River and a couple of hundred yards south of the US 24 highway bridge where the river gauge is located. The entire watershed extends back into Iowa. The announcements indicated woody debris buildup was one of the concerns. BTW, the river gauge is currently out of service.
