Here are few shots from my first trip of 2020. On Monday we made a trip to the St. Louis area in hopes of seeing TRRA 4002. Fortunately it was set to lead job 101 to Luther in the morning. Once it left we photographed it on Merchants Bridge and then went around the area looking for anything to shoot. Around town we found Ex SP, ATSF and EJE power as well as a some KCS around East St. Louis. Enjoy!

Nice variety. With both rusty rail and wheels, looks like the veterans unit doesn't get much use? All dressed up with no where to go I guess.

The Veterans unit is at the shops, Just came from the paint shop.Yet to be placed in service.

I had the stencils from U.P 4002 for many years, obtained from a Big Boy by that same number in Geneva Steel scrapyard in Utah years ago. kept in a wooden mockup of train indicator from which "borrowed"until passed on to San Mateo County Museum  in downsizing effort we left S.F. peninsula a few years ago..
