It was a cloudy to partly cloudy day with some rain early in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low was 47-34 with .10 of rain. More rain on the way. Traffic was fairly steady today with 34 trains so far since midnight with many more on the horizon. Here are some of the trains from today and several from yeasterday.

1. EB 1136am "Q" train with BNSF 5120-3966 on the point with DPU.
2. DPU BNSF 4142 on same train.
3. EB 1152am manifest train with BNSF 4065-8401, NS 4007 and CSXT 4551 on the pull with no DPU.

4. WB 1246pm grain train with BNSF 6999 and Ferromex 4026 on the point with DPU passing manifest at CP E. Tokio.

7. Caught up to EB manifest in picture #3 in the hole at CP E. Tokio with BNSF 4065 on the point.
8. BNSF 4065 on same train powering up at crew received green signal.
9. BNSF 8401 on same train giving off some smoke in the power up.

That is a buried piece of cement that was painted for Halloween a few years ago by the neighbor. Birds are doing fine eating lots of seed in the rain.
