A Bit Of Pre-Superbowl Action On The BNSF

It was a sunny day in Ritaville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 40-25. Traffic was fairly steady, so took a few shots before Superbowl kickoff. Here are some of the trains from today and a couple from yesterday.

2/1/2020

1. EB 338pm grain train with BNSF 6011-7038 on the point with DPU.
2. WB 356pm grain train with BNSF 5225-6900 on the pull with DPU.

2/2/2020

3. EB 1002am manifest train with BNSF 5041-4035 on the point with DPU.

4. Old Southern hopper rolling in same train.
5. DPU BNSF 7823 on same train.
6. EB 1021am intermodal train with BNSF 7491-9960 on the pull with DPU.

8. WB 1125am grain train with BNSF 6999 and Ferromex 4026 on the point with DPU.

11. WB 1138am ethanol train with BNSF 6036-6512 on the pull with DPU.
12. Same train rolling over old US10 overpass from 1939.

13. A MET ethanol tank car, one of many rolling in same train.
14. DPU BNSF 8436 rolling over old US10 overpass.
15. EB 1232m manifest train with BNSF 7641-4580-7630-287 on the point with no DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
