BNSF East and West Bounds Meet Near Ludlow, Calif.
Author: barstowRRmuseum

On January 4, 2020, it was time to head home to Kingman from the Barstow Railroad Museum. Since there was still sunlight, traveling Old Route 66 was the route I chose. About 3 miles east of Ludlow was a chance to catch a westbound descenting the grade from Ash Hill. The westbound doublestack came into view, and lo and behold here comes this eastbound doublestack. By chance both met at the right time and location. All of this was unexpected, but was grateful for the good luck.

Nice shot, Robert!  Sometimes we get lucky.
