Western Railroad Discussion > OCFX unit tanker trains on BNSFDate: 02/23/20 21:07 OCFX unit tanker trains on BNSF Author: RutledgeRadio Occasionally, I've seen unit trains of tank cars on BNSF's Ottumwa Subdivision that consist almost entirely of mid-sized OCFX tank cars. I've looked up these reporting marks and they are owned by Owens-Corning, and I'm curious, are these unit trains of fiberglass or some material used in making it? Does anybody have an idea of where these trains originate and their destinations?
