SD70ACe in pumpkin colors is still sort of rare out in California, probably more so in Northern California.

I hadn't done a Capitol Corridor joyride in a while, so I did one to Emeryville back in December. I heard a very loud horn (K5LLA) approaching later on, so I went up the walkway and nabbed this BNSF stack train with marine containers coming into Oakland. There's a San Joaquin with single level cars in the background.

2 GEs (BNSF 6681 and 8265) trail SD70ACe 8514.

MRVOA snuck in while I grabbed food, and I saw the AMIWC getting ready to depart the Desert Yard while riding the Capitol Corridor back home. Emeryville hasn't been the same in recent years with reduced freight traffic, but there's still plenty of Amtrak action there.

They're everyday power here in AZ on the BNSF now. Still interesting to see because of how long they didn't show up, but I hardly give them any more attention than I would other locomotives at this point.

You did manage to get a cool video of it though. Nice job!

Even rarer it's an SD70ACe-P4. Of which BNSF only own 20.

Thanks for the info. I'll edit the title.
