Okay, Yeah- I Got Kinda Cold Shooting This One

He took FOREVER climbing up to me, and wasn't dressed for a long wait!
I was out shoveling show off the deck and I heard this EB coming.  I grabbed the camera & monopod, walked up to the crossing, and waited........   Jeez- I must have heard him clear down at Cape Horn or something!!

Dang. Brrr! Was the snow heavy and wet there like it was north of you in Plumas County today? That is miserable stuff to be standing in.

Nice shot SR.  If there is a unique way to photograph trains coming up the hill in the snow, you have all the angles.

The last batch hasn't even finished melting yet but I think with temps expected in the 60s by week's end, this new
addition of snow will be short lived.

Yep. Classic Sierra Cement. I only had on a t-shirt and a cotton coat. I was pretty much soaked through with that wet snow by the time the train got there.
