Western Railroad Discussion > BNSF Along the Pacific SurflineDate: 05/24/20 06:37 BNSF Along the Pacific Surfline Author: gjc Non Essential Series #2
BNSF made another daylight run along the San Diego Subdivision yesterday morning, 5/23/2020. Photos taken of VBARSDG4-23 with BNSF 6093, 3266, 3267 along the Del Mar, Bluffs and CP Tecolote San Diego, CA. It was another beautiful day. It was nice to get an hour of relaxation, the ocean breeze and sun rays at Del Mar. Taking my time to get back home, I was very surprised I beat it to CP Tecolote by 15 minutes. Larry Date: 05/24/20 10:09 Re: BNSF Along the Pacific Surfline Author: masterphots Beautiful. I lived 5 miles from there for 28 years and never did get a good daytime photo of a southbound freight.

If I were in the area and found out there was a daylight freight coming to San Diego, I'd consider that "essential" backed up by "shelter-in-car." :-) Thanks for the beautiful shots, especially #1. I see in shot #3 that the San Diego Trolley project is getting closer to UC San Diego. |
