Busy Day (for PSR) on Soldier Summit.
Author: BurtNorton

On the 26th,  I spent about 1 hour at Soldier Summit and another 1 hour near Helper Utah.

Photographed at Soldier Summit were:
  • a set of light manned helper power heading westbound.
  • a westbound loaded unit coal train with rear DPUs

Also heard on the radio or seen en-route on U.S. Route 6 were:
  • A local out of Helper, UT
  • An eastbound BNSF run-through
  • An additional westbound loaded unit coal train.

Not bad for Soldier Summit.   When I was a manager for UP,  I really enjoyed my time off away from the bump and grind of Roper or SLC NY.
