Western Railroad Discussion > WP Heritage Unit in Bakersfield?Date: 06/22/20 19:10 WP Heritage Unit in Bakersfield? Author: tronarail According to the great people at the Tehachapi Depot Live Cam (On You Tube), the WP Heritage Unit #1983 is reportedly going to depart Bakersfield at 7:30 AM tomorrow. *Bulletin* The latest report puts the #1983 at Notarb, CA (near Madera) as of 7:00 pm. Other reports on the Tehachapi site (unable to confirm) indicate that UP will terminate the M-RVWC at Bakersfield due to it only having 7 cars. It is reportedly unassigned after arrival in Bakersfield. If you have any further updates, please feel free to add them or correct my information.

The MRVWC is going to terminate at Bakersfield. The power will most likely be picked up by either a Northbound or Southbound train. The unit is not assigned to anything as of yet. It was passing Tipton, CA around 11pm. CS |
