I thought I would post a few pictures of light and shadows from trees south of Springfield, OR .  I often use these shadows when shooting southbound trains in the afternoon to get around having the sun in my face.

1. This southbound oil train is at Fall Creek Junction on February 29. 

2. On June 17th this southbound manifest rolls into Jasper, OR along Jasper Road.

3. To the south of #1, this southbound morning manifest comes out of the shadows of the trees at the north switch at Dougren after crossing the Willamette River on June 19th.
