How many trains a day go by the Inn and what are best times and days of week?

Right now I think it's been 15-25 trains per 24hrs. Try the fish & chips with the huckleberry lemonade. The food at the Inn is pretty great.

The Blackfeet Nation has closed all access to the east side of Glacier National Park. I do not know if they still prohibit stopping on hwy 2 near Marias Pass area.

You can travel to the IWI via the Empire Builder and rent a car upon arrival.

At this time there is no 14 day quarantine for out of state visitors subject to change of course. This last weekend saw record numbers of new covid-19 cases across Montana.

Traffic is pretty level across the week, during the Dakota and Montana grain harvest there are more trains.

This is the time of the year for 8-10 hr mow windows during the day but that gets trains staged on sidings on the move in the afternoon. There is also traffic coming north from Laurel, Great Falls and Shelby to go west and north to Canada.

Per FRA crossing data for that line its 15 day 15 night, so 30 a day,
