Western Railroad Discussion > UP Chicago Kansas City via BNSF QuestionDate: 07/05/20 16:24 UP Chicago Kansas City via BNSF Question Author: MILW86A I know UP has stackers for Global 4 but how are the Global 2 trains routed via Chicagoland? My understanding from the local fans that they do not take the connector at Edelstein anymore.
Anyone want to confirm?? MILW86A Date: 07/05/20 18:25 Re: UP Chicago Kansas City via BNSF Question Author: SantaFe I know the ZCIG4 has been resymboled as the ZCIG2 and they’ve run it big over the last several weeks. The ZG4CI and IG4SI are the only thing running west.
Santa Fe Posted from iPhone Date: 07/06/20 04:07 Re: UP Chicago Kansas City via BNSF Question Author: quio05 G4 trains run up the CN Joliet Sub to the IHB to get to Proviso. Very rare the CN lets us run North on the Leithon Sub usually only southbound.
