Santa Maria Valley Railroad #1801, back in action!
Author: SPgoletablock

-SMVRR 1801 (GP9) originally built 6/59 as MILW 319 has a new lease on life after 5+ yrs. out of service. Thanks to Rob Himoto and his excellent mechanics, staff and crews for getting this flagship unit up and running and providing impeccable service to all of his Central Coast customers.

Did not get a chance to give the 1801 a bath, the crew did not expect so many photographers!

Between SMVRR rising freight traffic, VCR and now F&W with freight traffic, shortlines rule the coast for freight traffic!
