Western Railroad Discussion > 3751 passenger cars in transit.

I am following the San Bernardino Railroad Historical Society, to view their tracking of the three cars comming to So. CAl.  What I would like to know, if anyone knows which train they will use in So. Cal.?  I am assuming it would either be the BAR-WAT, or BAR-LAC.  And, if it is known, is there a place to find the time of that train?  I would like to rail-fan it at the Fullerton station, but would prefer not to have to wait there, all day and night long.

No published schedule on either train though they both tend to leave Barstow in the evening.

FWIW, They came through Fort Madison on the back end of a mixed manifest train (trailing the DPU) at 0015 Sunday.

Does anybody know where the cars will be stored?  There had been some delays in allowing car storage by the local San Bernardino government agency.  

No, They are not saying where they will be stored initially, only that it will be "at a secure yard in the L. A. area".  ultimately, they plan on storing them at Redondo Junction, but I believe that will happen only after the tender is back, married to the 3751.
